According to the Bible, we are to be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of our sins.
Not all churches teach this, but it’s right there in the book.
You can read about it by checking out these posts

And I will say this.
ANYONE who wants to know more about this, wants a Bible study, has questions, ANYTHING, is welcome to contact me or friend me. I answer all emails.
I am a lover of truth and I love sharing truth.
If you truly want to know, I will be happy to provide good, Godly counsel that is Biblically based.

This is good although I disagree on some points. Yes be baptized in Jesus Name and in no other I agree with you there. But it is not necessary to be baptized to be saved and the thief on the cross is proof of that. Also yes demons believe in GOD but a big difference between a Christian and a demon is that Christians have fruit of the Spirit and they are willing to obey GOD and demons don’t. When someone is a Christian they’ll show it in their actions it’s a natural thing. Like when you believe a chair will hold your weight you sit in it. This doesn’t mean Christian’s won’t sin cause it’ll happen but they’ll feel bad about it cause the Spirit will convict them. Baptizim is just an outward proclamation of what has already transpired on the inside. Saved by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone and Christ-like actions will happen as a result of real true faith. But still good blog I like it. GOD bless you.

Thank you for your comments.
Actually, the thief on the cross was under Mosaic law. Once Jesus died Mosaic law was no more.

I am sorry to say, but this post caused an emotional melt-down for me and not in a positive way. I really hope that baptism is not a requirement because I have no availability as of now to get any church that offers immersion and Christ could come at anytime. Is self baptism okay mrsmayberry?
